We encourage new children and youth to join our organization. Scouting will provide new experiences and new friends, many adventures and contact with the culture, history and Polish language through fun and games.

Our team of scout leaders works with dedication and commitment to develop the whole program for our children and youth scouts – with knowledge from their own experiences in our organization.

Signups will be held at school before each meeting (until end of October)

Scouting meetings will be held on school days, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Polish Scouting Organization, Martinez exists and operates for over 40 years in the San Francisco-Bay Area, now at the John Paul II School of Polish Language in Walnut Creek.

Our Scouting age levels for both girls and boys are:

 – Daisies & Tiger Cubs (Skrzaty) – ages 4 to 7

 – Brownies & Cub Scouts (Zuchy) – ages 7 to 11

 – Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts (Harcerki i Harcerze) – ages 11 to 15/16

 – Venturing (Wędrowniczki i Wędrownicy) – ages 15/16 to 21

Our center has about 30 children and youth from Polish families, or of Polish ancestry. In addition to traditional scouting meetings, which are held 1-2 times per month at the school, members have the opportunity to participate in attractive and adventurous events, weekend camping trips and other attractions throughout the school year. We also offer summer camp trips.

In 2010, more than 20 members from our area went to Poland to participate in the VIII World Jamboree event attended by more than 1,600 Polish youth scouts from all over the world. This Jamboree was organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Polish Scouting Organization. In 2013, members of our Venturing group (Wędrowniczki i Wędrownicy) took part in the 8-day hike/camp along the Catalina Island, an adventure that will forever remain in their memories. In 2015, our youth along with over four hundred Polish scouts and leaders from all over the United States participated in the National Jamboree in Colorado
