Cel i Misja Szkoły

Our mission is to deliver an accredited curriculum program for Polish - American children in the Bay Area to enrich their connection to Polish heritage, culture, language, and history through education, dance, art, and community service.

Szkoła mocą swego posłannictwa kształtuje władze umysłowe, rozwija zdolność wydawania prawidłowych sądów, wprowadza w dziedzictwo kultury wytworzonej przez przeszłe pokolenie, kształci zmysł wartości, przygotowuje do życia zawodowego, sprzyja dyspozycjom do wzajemnego zrozumienia się...

01/08/22 classes

Dear Parents,
This Saturday we welcome you to our first class this year!

COVID-19. Due to the recent COVID-19 surge, we’d like to share with you the precautions our school is taking against it. The main parts of our protocol are:
– All teachers have presented a confirmation of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or are being tested before the classes every Saturday. Currently only one teacher is not fully vaccinated.
– All persons in the school are required to wear masks when indoors. In accordance with the California Department of Public Health guidancewe recommend wearing surgical masks or higher-level respirators. Teachers have extra surgical masks at their disposal.
– Teachers have cleaning supplies and clean the desks and chairs before classes.
– We avoid eating when indoors – as long as weather permits, students are asked to eat their lunch at the benches outdoors.
– We avoid congregating by the classrooms by asking parents to drop off and pick up their kids at the school playground.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we kindly ask you to let us know immediately should one of your children test positive within 7 days of the classes. In such a case our plan is to notify all parents from their class so that they can get their families tested as well.

We are constantly monitoring the guidance from the school district and the California Department of Public Health and will keep updating our safety protocols as required.

For lunch this week we are offering pizza, strawberries and yogurt. Payment $5 in cash or with venmo at @szkolaPL1967.

This Saturday yard duty will be carried out by Iwona Z., Aneta McG. and Iwona B.  – thank you! You can sign up for future dates at https://signup.com/go/xbXawRM.
