Szkoła Języka Polskiego im. Jana Pawła II od wielu lat pełni funkcję prężnego centrum edukacji, kultury i informacji, od prawie 50 lat służąc ― najlepiej jak potrafi ― naszej lokalnej a za razem emigracyjnej społeczności. Nadrzędnym celem Szkoły jest stworzenie odpowiedniego środowiska wychowawczego dla dzieci i młodzieży, umożliwiając wszechstronny rozwój ucznia w oparciu o wartości patriotyczne. Naszym uczniom oferujemy najlepsze warunki do rozwijania umiejętności interpersonalnych, pewności siebie, poszukiwania wiedzy oraz odkrywania pasji do nauki języka Polskiego.

Our mission is to deliver an accredited curriculum program for Polish - American children in the Bay Area to enrich their connection to Polish heritage, culture, language, and history through education, dance, art, and community service.

Next school day – May 4

1. On Sunday, May 5th, at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, there will be celebrations of the anniversary of the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution. We cordially invite you to participate in this ceremony. 
As every year, children from our school are invited to dance folk dances. This year we are scheduled to perform at 1:30 pm. If you would like to sign your child up, please contact Ms. Magda madziara26@oal.com
 
2. On May 11th at 12.30pm we will celebrate Mother’s and Father’s Day at our school. We cordially invite you to join us in those festivities. We encourage you to help us prepare for this ceremony so that we can spend time together with our children. 3. The yard duty this Saturday’s will be provided by Annette Gojkovich, Magdalena Kochanski and Aneta Singh.

4. A friendly reminder that there is only 4 classes left until the end of school year. If you have not completed all your volunteering hours / yard duty (out of 15 required hours), please contact Iza Stawicki (istawicka@gmail.com) or Maja Baluta (majabaluta@yahoo.com).

Next school day – April 13th

1. Egg Hunt
Scouts and Polonia Center in  Martinez would like to  invite all children under the age of 10 for an egg hunt Sunday, April 14 in Martinez, 909 Mellus St. Kids will meet Easter Bunny and there will be a chance to take pictures in the park.
Buy tickets in advance of $10 from Iwonka Urbaniak on Saturday from 2-2: 30 at the  school playground. On Sunday  tickets can be purchased on site for $12. 
 
2. Lost and Found
Our box with items left by children after classes is filled to the brim. Please check it out  this Saturday, all items that will not be taken home will be donated to Goodwill.
The box will be located at the school entrance near the playground.
 
3. Yard Duty
The yard duty will be provided by: Ivona Zielińska and Aneta McGarry, thank you for all the time, and if someone has not yet signed up for yard duty it can be done here  http://signup.com/go/BNkKaUF 
 
4. There won’t be an option to buy lunch this Saturday. Make sure you pack lunch for your children.
 
5. We like to wish everyone Happy Easter and we’d like to remind you that our next classes will be held on May 4th
